Our general guideline for weather is "Plan to Play". We will continue to play with rain or snow conditions, unless the fields become unsafe for play or Portage Soccer Complex closes due to field conditions. It is very difficult for us to make up games due to other programs using the soccer complex, so we try our best to play the games at the scheduled times.

If thunder is heard or lightning seen during a game, AYSO policy is to stop the games and clear the fields of all players for 30 minutes. Once no thunder or lightning occur for 30 full minutes, games resume.

If storms are expected during a game day, decisions for each division will be made by the Regional Commissioner & division directors as the day progresses. Again, "plan to play". We will communicate plans for each division on the AYSO Region 74 Facebook page and via email.
